My plane got stuck in Auckland, so I took a bus into the city.

I wanted to jump off this thing, but it cost $190NZ (the bungie jump ropes are on the left):

So, instead, I walked around on the glass floor 350 feet up,

checked out the view (notice the clouds in Aukland),

and attended a show of "Castle Cats."

Then I flew to Wellington. Weta booked me in a huge room at the Duxton hotel w/two bathrooms, a hallway, & a livingroom. Here's the living room:

The view from the hotel:

Then I went to work. Weta is cute (I got to see dragons on my frist day):

You know that sheild that the Urukai (sp) throws at Aragorn & almost cuts his head off? I walk by that on my way to the bathroom.
Weta gave me a rental car for two weeks:

So I went for a drive.

& took a walk:

Then Inge (a nice Weta HR chicka) took me to see apartments (they're enormous. We looked at one that was a four bedroom place & in my price range! Anyone want to visit?)

I'm having fun :)

ps - Shimmy stole your old cube and finally gave it the paint over it deserved.
Did you know that a "WETA" is an insect and that the name derives from old MAORI'ish that means "God of Ugly"?
Yuk!!
Do they have "WETA Crossing" signs too?
Seriously, if that's the clothes dryer...then that's washer below it? What other wacky stuff do the NZ'ers have going on? That washer looks squished!
I can't believe you are in New Zealand. You really are insane, Raphe. I'm not kidding.
