I moved into my apartment on Saturday and started decorating:

Just kidding. My decorations look more like this:

I have to start my library from scratch:

& I will hang everything with thumbtacks.

no, this is not a wedding ring.

This will make me a good cook.

This will remind me how awesome nyc apartments are.

This was all I had to eat on Saturday (I stole the 1/2 avacado from work):

So I bought a phenomenal amount of food and crap. The food is boring, but here is some of the crap:
I almost bought this car:

But instead I bought this bike:

And then I bought this car:

It's a boy.

I bought a pillow,

a camping pad,

& a sleeping bag -- which serves as my bed for the time being.

Here is most of the phenomenal amount (click to see large image):

I also bought these towels (so people will know I'm american).

Here's a list of things I still need to buy (but can't because I've overdrawn my account):
soap
phone
heater
notebook
tray to bolt to desk
helmet
filing bin
desk
chair
matress
bedframe
futon
plants
coat hanger
bookcase
ironing board
standing lamp
computer speakers
toilet paper
small dining table w/chairs
superglue
fuzzy slippers
microwave

Oh My God Raphe, it's a good thing you bought rubber gloves because if you can't afford soap or toilette paper, you would be in some serious shit. Anyways, keep the posts coming, I'm glad to see that you are getting acquainted with NZ and everything looks great so far. BlueSky certainly isn't the same place as it was when we started...Peace

Raphe. I am quitting my job and coming to visit.
Lino says hi. Marla and I got a hearty chuckle out of your boy car. What will you name him? Good Luck with everything..
I might seriously come visit you. Ciao ciao!

Hey Raphe.
I'm honored to preside over your kitchen.
If you're ever inspired, I have a great recipe for sauteed kakapo's liver a l'orange. My kiwi fritters aren't half bad either.
The toilet flushes clockwise, right?
See you.
Nicholas
